Map the catalogue first

Send the product types, approximate catalogue size, variants and collection structure. We plan how a visitor browses, compares and selects the right product. Product data, photography and clear delivery or returns information matter as much as the storefront layout.

Separate the store build from platform costs

We agree the Shopify plan, theme and app requirements before work starts. Shopify subscriptions, paid themes, app subscriptions and transaction or payment-provider fees are separate from Lustre’s work. We do not add an app simply to fill a feature list; each one needs a clear purpose and a cost you understand.

Scope the full customer journey

The proposal identifies collections, product templates, search/filter requirements, cart behaviour and supported checkout settings. It also records who imports product data, configures taxes and shipping, approves policies and sets up payments. Checkout customisation depends on Shopify’s supported features and your plan.

Launch with operational checks

We check representative products and variants, navigation, mobile layout and the route through a test order where access allows. The handover covers routine product updates and responsibility for ongoing app or theme changes. Unusual fulfilment or stock integrations require separate planning.

Already running Shopify?
