New to Yoga?

Everything you need to know before your first class.

Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows you to move freely. You don't need special yoga clothes — leggings and a t-shirt work perfectly. We recommend layers so you can adjust as your body warms up.
Just yourself and a water bottle! We provide mats, blocks, bolsters, and blankets for every class. If you prefer your own mat, you're welcome to bring it.
Arrive 10 minutes early so we can welcome you and show you around. Classes typically begin with breathing exercises, move through gentle poses, and end with a relaxation period called savasana.
Absolutely — yoga is for every body. Whether you're flexible or stiff, young or older, athletic or just starting to move, there's a style and pace that will suit you. Our beginners classes are specifically designed to be accessible and welcoming.
